Lava Cap Winery will host live music (soft blues and rock n' roll tunes from the past and present) for relaxing summertime fun and outdoor wine tasting on July 31st, from 4 to 8 pm, in the winery’s garden.
This is our second live musical event held in the evening by Lava Cap Winery due to last year’s success. The winery is open to the public at 11am everyday and the music will be from 4pm to 8pm giving our patrons extra time to relax in our amazing winery setting. Adults are $5 at the door. Spend your summer evening with us sipping wine and relaxing with fun tunes. The premium, award winning wines of Lava Cap Winery will be available for tasting and purchase to enjoy on the deck or in the gardens. Bring a picnic or buy delicious BBQ sandwiches catered by Sierra Smokehouse, which will be available for purchase on site. Tickets may be purchased at our Wine Shop.

Free to the public! Join us as we celebrate vintage cars at our first annual Vintage Ride Classic Car Show. Nestled in the charming foothills of El Dorado County, you can view a sampling of classic rides dating prior to 1960. This first annual show features some of the region’s finest and most unique vehicles. Both Greg and Justin Boeger’s cars will be on display for this special occasion. It is a must see if you're in the neighborhood. Pack a picnic or pick up some goodies from our deli cheese case, buy a bottle of wine, or two and enjoy the day in our garden. Hoist the skull and cross chicks! Join us at the Winery in Vallecito on Saturday, August 21st from about 1PM to 5PM for all of the debauchery festivities! Admission is free and exclusive to members of The Twisted Few and their guests. Arrrr! And what be a “Cave Loot”? This is our annual “thank you” event for you, The Twisted Few. We dress up as pirates, we open the cave to you, and we sample Twisted grog from barrels using a “wine thief”. We serve some grub that is vaguely piratical, we say “ARRRRRRRR!!!” way more than you usually hear in polite company, and generally have a naughty time of it.pirate booty at twisted oak!What do you need to do? Most importantly, you have to show up! Piratical attire, er, garb is encouraged but not required - however, if you do arrive sporting some fine swashbuckling kit, you’ll have the chance to win some fine booty, er, prizes.
